Turner Classic Movies presents its first annual Halloween Make-up Contest in conjunction with our special October tribute: Lon Chaney: A Thousand Faces. The challenge is to make yourself look like one of Lon Chaney's most famous creations, The Hunchback of Notre Dame. Judges will be picking a grand prize winner based on originality and creativity and there will be 25 runner-up prizes. To participate in the make-up contest, you need to submit a photo of yourself in your "Hunchback" disguise to Turner Classic Movies either via the internet (you can simply attach the image file) or mail the photograph to Turner Classic Movies, Attn: Halloween Make-up Contest, 1010 Techwood Drive, Atlanta, Ga. 30318. Please include your name, address, phone number, e-mail address (if available) and age (remember, you must be 16 or older to enter). The grand prize will consist of "The Big Kit" from Kryolan which includes everything an aspiring makeup artist would need to create amazing characters for the stage or film. It has everything from special effects blood to tooth enamel and crepe hair and comes with a silver carrying case. The prize also includes a glow-in-the-dark Lon Chaney t-shirt, copies of three books on the artistry and film career of Lon Chaney by Michael F. Blake, and a VHS copy of the new Lon Chaney documentary, Lon Chaney: A Thousand Faces. Runner-up prize winners will also receive a VHS copy of the new Lon Chaney documentary, Lon Chaney: A Thousand Faces. OK, you've got the rules. Now get crackling.
