Actor Wesley Barry got his start in acting when he was just ten years old. In his early acting career, Barry appeared in such films as "Rebecca of Sunnybrook Farm" (1917), "Daddy Long Legs" (1919) with Mary Pickford and "Male and Female" (1919). He also appeared in "Bob Hampton of Placer" (1921). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the twenties and the thirties, appearing in "Heroes of the Street" (1922), "The Printer's Devil" (1923) and "The Thoroughbred" (1930). He also appeared in the romance "The Life of Vergie Winters" (1934) with Ann Harding. Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the dramatic adaptation "The Plough and the Stars" (1936) with Barbara Stanwyck and the Patsy Kelly musical comedy "Pick a Star" (1937). Barry more recently directed "The Creation of the Humanoids" (1962) with Don Megowan. Barry passed away in April 1994 at the age of 87.
