Paul Marks is a low-profile producer working in television. His original credits go back to 1976, when he was a production assistant on the blaxploitation film "The Monkey Hustle," but his career began in earnest in '89, when he was a unit production manager on the ABC war drama "China Beach." In '93, Marks became a unit production manager on the quirky Western "The Adventures of Brisco County Jr.," but also worked his way into co-producing and then producing on the show, which starred Bruce Campbell as an Old West bounty hunter. In the mid-'90s, Marks served as unit production manager and also briefly as producer on the family drama "Party of Five," the series that launched the careers of both Neve Campbell and Jennifer Love Hewitt. In '02, Marks fulfilled both production manager and co-producer duties on the hit FX crime thriller "The Shield," a genre-bending show about a rogue L.A. detective who pushes the limits of corruption. After a modest producing stint on the romantic comedy series "Windfall" in '06, Marks earned his most ambitious gig to date in '07, as a producer on the NBC spy comedy "Chuck," starring Zachary Levi as a computer geek who inadvertently downloads confidential government information into his brain. Marks eventually rose to a co-executive producer role on the show.
