Claire Luce made her mark in the world of entertainment when she worked on the comedy "Up the River" (1930) with Spencer Tracy. In 1922, she appeared in "Little Jessie James" on Broadway. In 1952, she starred in a Broadway revival of "Much Ado About Nothing."
