Laurence Mason is a first generation American film and television actor, born to parents from Trinidad. Graduating from the School of Performing Arts in New York City launched Mason into steady work in television and feature film simultaneously, beginning with the 1992 cable special "Hardcore TV." Over the next several years he had roles in popular television series such as "Law and Order," "NYPD Blues" and "Homicide: Life on the Streets." In features, Mason joined a vibrant ensemble cast that included Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper and Brad Pitt in the Quentin Tarantino scripted 1993 film "True Romance." In addition, Mason also appeared in the Angelina Jolie 1994 feature "Hackers," and in the tragedy marred production of "The Crow," followed by a role in Steven Spielberg's dazzling "A.I. Artificial Intelligence." Throughout the early 2000s, Mason continued appearing regularly in television, frequently on crime or action shows, including "JAG" and "CSI Miami." He had recurring roles in "The Shield,""Prison Break" as well as "Breakout Kings." Mason's consistent and varied industry experiences provided him the confidence to write and produce two short films, "JoJo" in 2009 and...
