David Bond found incredible success as an accomplished actor, appearing in a variety of films throughout his Hollywood career. In his early acting career, Bond appeared in such films as "Cigarette Girl" (1947), "The Private Affairs of Bel Ami" (1947) and the comedy adaptation "The Late George Apley" (1947) with Ronald Colman. He also appeared in "That Lady in Ermine" (1948) with Betty Grable, the adventure "Song of India" (1949) with Sabu and "We Were Strangers" (1949). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the fifties, appearing in the George Montgomery adventure "The Sword of Monte Cristo" (1951), "The Golden Hawk" (1952) and the Marlon Brando dramatic adaptation "Julius Caesar" (1953). He also appeared in the dramatic adaptation "The Silver Chalice" (1954) with Virginia Mayo. In the latter half of his career, he continued to act in the dramatic adventure "Aloha, Bobby And Rose" (1975) with Paul Le Mat, the comedy "House Calls" (1978) with Walter Matthau and the Marty Feldman comedy "In God We Trust" (1980). Bond was most recently credited in "Alpha Dog" (2007) with Justin Timberlake. He held additional roles in television including a part on "Dobie Gillis" (CBS, 1959-1963). Bond passed away in April 1989 at the age of 75.
