Story of the life of Italian painter and sculptor Amedeo Modigliani, who died in 1920 at the age of 36.
A group of five men are recruited to avenge the 1972 Munich Olympics massacre. The fictional treatment of Israel's actions describes the efforts of the team and questions the morality of revenge. The Sword of Gideon represents Israeli justice.
