Denise Vernac was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1946, she made her first credited screen appearance in Lew Landers' "The Mask Of Dijon." In 1949, she played the leading lady in "Le Signal Rouge." In 1953, she starred as Claudine de Vervins in "L'Envers Du Paradis" ("The Other Side Of Paradise"). Vernac began her career with a role in "The Mask of Diijon" (1946) with Erich von Stroheim. Vernac next focused her career on film, appearing in the drama "The Cheaters" (1961) with Pascal Petit. Later in her career, Vernac appeared on the Paul Kohner documentary "The Man You Loved to Hate" (1979). Vernac passed away in October 1984 at the age of 68.
