BIOGRAPHY

Renee Whitney was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Whitney's career beginnings included film roles in the Clara Bow drama "The Wild Party" (1929) and "Winner Take All" (1932). Whitney began to focus on film after appearing in the musical "Footlight Parade" (1933) with James Cagney, "Private Detective 62" (1933) and "Bedside" (1934). She also appeared in "I've Got Your Number" (1934). Later in her career, Whitney acted in "Side Streets" (1934).
