Michael Burgess rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Burgess began his acting career with roles in such films as "Twelve Views of Kensal House" (1984), the Steve Guttenberg hit comedy "Three Men and A Baby" (1987) and the Sean Astin comedic drama "Staying Together" (1989). He also appeared in the Tom Cruise action picture "Days of Thunder" (1990) and "My Cousin Vinny" (1992). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties, appearing in the Tom Hanks smash hit dramatic adaptation "Forrest Gump" (1994) and the dramatic adaptation "The Sum of Us" (1995) with Jack Thompson. He also landed a role in the miniseries "In the Best of Families: Marriage, Pride and Madness" (1993-94). He also was featured in the TV movie "The Lottery" (NBC, 1996-97). He also worked in television during these years, including roles in "PSI Factor: Chronicles of the Paranormal" (1996-2001) and "Gene Roddenberry's "Earth: Final Conflict"" (1997-2002). Most recently, Burgess acted on "Merlin" (2008-2013).
