Biography CLOSE THE FULL BIOGRAPHY

Clive reprised his stage success in the 1930 filming of "Journey's End," helmed by James Whale. A talented actor with a real flair for tension bordering on hysteria, he is probably best known for his portrayals of Dr. Frankenstein in Whale's two masterworks of the macabre, "Frankenstein" (1931) and "Bride of Frankenstein" (1935).
