Evelyn Ellis was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. Ellis began her career with a role in the Orson Welles mystery "The Lady From Shanghai" (1948). Ellis then began to rack up a number of film credits, including roles in "The Joe Louis Story" (1953) with Coley Wallace and "Interrupted Melody" (1955). Ellis was most recently credited in the horror flick "Revenge of the Dead" (1975) with Larry Justin. Ellis passed away in June 1958 at the age of 64.
