Shaggy landed a career in Hollywood by becoming a talented reggae artist. Shaggy began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like the suspenseful adaptation "Sliver" (1993) with Sharon Stone, the Roberto Cobo drama "The Hole" (1997) and the Tim Allen comedic adventure "Jungle2jungle" (1997). His music also appeared in the Sandra Bullock action film "Speed 2: Cruise Control" (1997), the Brendan Fraser hit comedy adventure "George of the Jungle" (1997) and the Angela Bassett dramatic adaptation "How Stella Got Her Groove Back" (1998). In the early 2000s, Shaggy devoted his time to various credits, such as "Rock'n Jock Super Bowl XXXV" (MTV, 2000-01), "The 28th Annual American Music Awards" (ABC, 2000-01) and the Freddie Prinze Jr. and Sarah Michelle Gellar smash hit "Scooby-Doo" (2002). He also worked on "Showtime" with Robert De Niro (2002).
