Joe Frazier was a boxer who also brought his talents to the world of entertainment. In his early acting career, Frazier appeared in such films as "The Fight" (1970), "The Fighters" (1974) and "Ali the Man: Ali the Fighter" (1975). He also appeared in "Rocky" (1976) and "Ghost Fever" (1987) with Sherman Hemsley. He kept working in film throughout the eighties and the nineties, starring in "Champions Forever" (1989) and the Abe Vigoda comedic fantasy "Home of Angels" (1993). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "NBC Saturday Sports Showcase" (NBC, 1989-1990). He also lent his voice to "The Simpsons" (Fox, 1989-). Toward the end of his career, he tackled roles in the comedy "Just the Ticket" (1999) with Andy Garcia and the documentary "Jim Brown: All American" (2002) with Jim Brown. Additionally, he appeared on the television special "Ali-Frazier I: One Nation... Indivisible" (HBO, 1999-2000). He also worked in television during these years, including a part on "A Whole New Ballgame" (ABC, 1994-95). Frazier last appeared on the Muhammad Ali documentary "Facing Ali" (2009). Frazier passed away in November 2011 at the age of 67.
