BIOGRAPHY

Lucy Gutteridge was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She had a part on the television special "The Seven Dials Mystery" (1980-81). She also appeared in the TV movie "A Christmas Carol" (CBS, 1984). In the early stages of her Hollywood career, Gutteridge held acting roles in films like "The Greek Tycoon" (1978). She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for "Little Gloria... Happy at Last" in 1982. This recognition propelled her to pursue a role in "A Christmas Carol" (CBS, 1984). She also starred in the TV movies "Arthur the King" (1984-85), "Hitler's SS: Portrait in Evil" (NBC, 1984) and "The Secret Garden" (CBS, 1987-88). She also had roles in film during these years, including roles in "Top Secret!" (1984) and "The Trouble With Spies" (1987) with Donald Sutherland. She also appeared in "Tusks" (1989). She also had a part in the TV miniseries "Judith Krantz's Till We Meet Again" (1989-1990). Gutteridge more recently acted in the Craig Chester comedic drama "Grief" (1994).
