Fred Haltiner was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1974, he had his final TV role on the German series "Castaway." Haltiner began his career with a role in the adventure "Hannibal Brooks" (1969) with Oliver Reed. Haltiner next focused his career on film, appearing in the Steve McQueen action movie "Le Mans" (1971). Later in his career, Haltiner acted in the crime flick "Der Fall" (1972) with Walo Luond. Haltiner passed away in December 1973 at the age of 37.
