Ed Herlihy worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Herlihy worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "Kraft Television Theater" (NBC, 1946-1959), "The Chosen" (1981) starring Maximilian Schell and "The Kraft Music Hall" (NBC, 1958-1971). He also contributed to "The Millionaire" (CBS, 1954-1960), "The Newsreel Era - 70 Years of Headlines" (1972) and "The Perry Como Show" (NBC, 1955-59). He then appeared in the Robert De Niro comedic drama "The King of Comedy" (1983), the Woody Allen comedy "Zelig" (1983) and "Police Academy 2: Their First Assignment" (1985). Herlihy had a number of different projects under his belt in the eighties and the nineties, including "A Fine Mess" with Ted Danson (1986), "Super Night at the Super Bowl" (CBS, 1986-87) and "The 21st Annual Country Music Association Awards" (CBS, 1987-88). His credits also expanded to the Bob Hoskins and Christopher Lloyd box office smash "Who Framed Roger Rabbit" (1988) and "Malcolm X" with Denzel Washington (1992). Herlihy last appeared on "NYTV: By the People Who Made It" (PBS, 1998-99). Herlihy passed away in January 1999 at the age of 90.
