Gary Houston's acting talents were showcased on the big screen many times throughout the course of his Hollywood career. Houston's career began by acting in comedies like "The Blues Brothers" (1980) starring John Belushi, "Class" (1983) starring Rob Lowe and "Major League" (1989) starring Tom Berenger. He also appeared in the TV movie "The Children Nobody Wanted" (CBS, 1981-82). He continued to work steadily in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, appearing in the Frances McDormand dramedy "Fargo" (1996), the comedy "Uncle Nino" (2005) with Joe Mantegna and "Proof" (2005). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in "The Astronaut Farmer" (2007) with Billy Bob Thornton, the Shia LaBeouf blockbuster drama "Eagle Eye" (2008) and "The Express" (2008) with Dennis Quaid. He also appeared in the Malin Akerman box office smash action flick "Watchmen" (2009) and the Vince Vaughn comedic drama "The Dilemma" (2011). Most recently, Houston acted on "The Houstons: On Our Own" (Lifetime, 2012-13).
