Hoke Howell was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. Howell's career in acting began with his roles in various films like the drama "Shenandoah" (1965) with James Stewart, "Marlowe" (1969) with James Garner and the comedy "Bad Charleston Charlie" (1973) with Ross Hagen. He also appeared in the Lee Marvin drama "The Klansman" (1974), the Charles Bronson comedy "From Noon Till Three" (1976) and the Ron Howard action picture "Grand Theft Auto" (1977). His film career continued throughout the seventies and the eighties in productions like "Kingdom of the Spiders" (1977), "Humanoids From the Deep" (1980) and "Alienator" (1989) with Jan-Michael Vincent. He also appeared in the thriller "B.O.R.N." (1989) with Ross Hagen. Recently, he continued to act in "Far and Away" (1992) with Tom Cruise, the Erik Estrada thriller "Angel Eyes" (1993) and the James Van Patten thriller "Trapped" (1993). He also appeared in the action movie "Geronimo: An American Legend" (1993) with Jason Patric and "The Alarmist" (1998). Howell most recently acted in "Vice Girls" (2000) with Lana Clarkson.
