Ian Fisher was born in Romania and raised between Israel and Italy. He moved to the United States as an adult, enrolling in the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York City in 2005, and the Actors Studio shortly afterward. In the years to follow, Fisher appeared in a series of short films, eventually landing small roles on television series like "Dirt" (FX 2007-08) and in films like "You Don't Mess with the Zohan" (2008). His big break came by way of a role in the music video for music artist Lady Gaga's hit song "Bad Romance." From there, Fisher landed parts in director J.J. Abrams' "Stark Trek" (2009) as well as an episode of the seventh season "Curb Your Enthusiasm" (HBO 2000-), followed by parts in smaller productions like "Machete Joe" (2010), "Lionhead" (2013), and "The Bronx Bull" (2016). Fisher next landed roles in the horror reboot "Leatherface" (2017) and the Charlie Sheen-starring drama film "9/11" (2017).
