Olivia Barash launched her acting career at the tender age of 11. She also appeared in the TV movie "The Incredible Hulk" (CBS, 1977-78). Barash launched her entertainment career by acting in films like the Tim McIntire musical "American Hot Wax" (1978). She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Daughters" (NBC, 1976-77) and "The Contest Kid" (ABC, 1978-79). Her work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "The Triangle Factory Fire Scandal" (NBC, 1978-79). Following that project, Barash worked on mostly television programs, including "Out of the Blue" (ABC, 1979-1980) and "Night Court" (NBC, 1983-1992). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Zack and the Magic Factory" (ABC, 1980-81) and "Through the Magic Pyramid" (NBC, 1981-82). During these years, she additionally appeared in film, receiving a role in the drama "Repo Man" (1984) with Harry Dean Stanton. She also played parts in television during these years, including roles in "Out of the Blue" (ABC, 1979-1980) and "Night Court" (NBC, 1983-1992).
