Many years ago I saw "The Tiger Makes Out" on TV. I thought it was hilarious! I remembered laughing so hard, I ended up crying. I searched for it on video tape and DVD through the years but could never find it. A few years ago tcm played it, but I missed it. I was sadly disappointed. Since then I have been checking out their listings to see if they are going to, hopefully, show it again. It is one of my favorite comedies.

When will you release this movie on DVD? It's one of the best comedies from this era.

  • Why is this movie not released?????

I love the Tiger Makes out. It is truely my favorite film of all time. If their isn't a big enough market to release it why can't it be P.O.D (Print On Demand)? It would make 80 people (last vote count) very happy.

When I first saw this movie in the early '70's on TV, I thought it was the funniest thing I'd ever seen. I was probably between ten and twelve. For the last 25 years, I"ve searched for it on VHS and was disappointed it was never released. I'm with the other reviewer, no one Ive ever asked has even heard of it and when I try to explain it, I fail miserably. Please release it on dvd, just for me so I can show it to those whom I've confused over the years...lol If you've seen it, you know what I mean.

  • I saw it in a theater.

When I watched it on TCM, I kept saying this looks familiar & it hit me how much I loved it when I saw it as a college student at CU-Boulder. Anne Jackson was getting some film work and I thought she was fantastic, as well as Eli.With the woes of today, the film seems to be written for today, instead of those memories of the fast paced 60s that seem to be used!Get it on DVD! PLEASE!

The Tiger Makes Out is an wonderful, funny, intelligent, delightful movie - - with a terrible title. I have been trying for years to find a DVD. Pease, PLEASE make it available. It is far superior to the old westerns and mindless sitcoms that clutter up the DVD sale bins. This is a great film! Again: Please make it available. I promise to buy six copies!!

I discovered this 1967 movie on TV in the mid - late 70's. I laughed out loud till I cried. I saw it once again in 1988 or so, recorded it, and my husband recorded over it!! I have looked for it to appear on TV -- never released on video or DVD -- for 20 years! It ran on TCM very early this morning, and I have it waiting for me (I hope) on DVR. I hope to find it on a permanent medium to keep. This movie has so many sociological and psychological undertones. Seriously, no one else I have ever met has seen this movie, and they're missing a great adventure. Superb acting--very unusual circumstances---and the main character can't even see that he is as oblivious to his fellow man and environment as those he criticizes! Watch it!
