NOTES

powered by AFI

According to information contained in the file for the film in the MPAA/PCA Collection at the AMPAS Library, the film May also have been called Riders of the Law. Modern sources include the following actors in the cast: Ethel Reese-Burns (Mrs. Price); Arthur Legge-Willis and Arthur Kerr (Loan sharks); George Hibbard (Owner of Davy Jones' Locker restaurant); Lou Callum (Policeman standing behind judge); and Stuart Clarke (Judy's doctor). Modern sources also note that censors in British Columbia demanded that a notice be inserted at the beginning of the film indicating that the scenes involving welfare workers and courts were fictional and could not have happened in that province.
