Francis C. Shane, who is one of the film's presenters, also has an onscreen credit reading: "Assisting Allend'or Productions for the Union, Francis C. Shane, Assistant to the Producer." The following statement appears in the film's end credits: "The Union and the Producers wish to acknowledge the cooperation of USA District 38 Director Charles J. Smith, the officers and members of Local Union 1414 and the many other people without whose assistance and help this film could not have been made."
According to press materials, the film's story was based on an idea "expressed by [Union] President David J. McDonald in a speech on civil rights given by him" in Los Angeles in September 1956. No reviews for the picture have been found and no exact release date has been determined.
